SUMMARY
The Network Engineer is responsible for the support of the global data and voice infrastructure. Participate in design, architecture, planning and roadmap discussions and decisions. Build the environment to scale for future with high level of reliability, scalability and resiliency. Oversee the Enterprise Network Architecture environment consists of: Routing/Switching, IOS/CFG Standardization, MPLS/IP-VPN/DMVPN, IP Telephony/Unified Messaging/Voice Mail/Call Center/WiFi, Radius/802.1x, Remote Access/VPN and Video Conferencing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
?Support enterprise voice infrastructure, including Call Center Enterprise
?Respond and resolve to network issues: voice and data
?Validate business requirements provided by internal customers relating to voice
?Manage cross-functional projects/teams
?Responsible for training program and knowledge transfer, including AS-Built documentation during product development phase, ensure smooth hand-off with Junior Systems Engineers and Help Desk if required
?Manage Performance tuning and Capacity Planning of production systems. Optimize architecture and maximize our computing resources.
?Design, Planning and Standardization of Highly Available, Load balance, Reliable Networking Systems with automated failover capability.
?Provide architecture and technology insight assistance and response to inquires from internal departments and organizations. Work with Industry analysts, vendors and partners on issues relating to the Network and Security Infrastructure.
?Partner with relevant internal stakeholders on best practice and adoption of proactive Monitoring and Notification of Fault / Event management using tools and writing programs
?Implement improved methods and tools for the troubleshooting and researching of problems
?Responsible for the Voice and Data Infrastructure Backup/Recovery and Disaster Recovery
Additional Responsibilities:
?Ensure the effective fulfilment of ives and deadlines assigned to the group

?Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
?Perform other duties as assigned
?Advocate and articulate Cisco Voice Solutions and Strategy by providing in depth and high level technical and business interface with customer case
?Understand and Articulate Ciscos Architectures and Services
?Participate / Key contributor on Infrastructure RFI/RFP
?Provide tier 1-4 support for top technical issues in Network Data/Voice areas through working with internal and external resources

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
?Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
?Minimum 4 to 5+ years in architecting Data/Voice Networking, and Infrastructure Security solutions
?Experience in environment using Cisco UCM in a clustered Solution Cisco Unity Voice Mail / Unified Messaging design and configuration Cisco ICM design and Polycom video conferencing:
oProven mastery (knowledge and experience) of the following products:
?Cisco UCM – versions 9 or latest
?Cisco IP Contact Center – versions 9 or latest
?Cisco Unity – versions 9 or latest
oTroubleshoot Cisco IP Phone boot process and Skinny protocol operation
oUnderstand wireless IP Telephony
oUnderstand and troubleshoot voice gateways (Cisco ISR routers), DSP resources, voice interfaces and circuits
oUnderstand and troubleshoot signalling protocols: MGCP/H.323/SIP
oExperienced in setup of SRST routers and environment
oTranslate Call Center business requirements to technical executions
oExperienced in supporting Polycom video conferencing
?Knowledge of Firewalls such as Cisco ASAs and Cisco Security Management suit, and Checkpoint Secure Platform/Provider-1, and Palo Alto Networks
?Strong experience working hand-to-hand with a development team
?Strong experience in Security engineering for network based IDS, AV and Content filtering proxy hardware solutions (Websense, Bluecoat), including ing and policy implementation, Hands on deployment of Cisco ACS, RSA SecureID and Cisco VPN gateways
?Strong experience deploying end-to-end QOS for real-time voice and video traffic
?Candidates must have strong knowledge in VoIP, QoS, and MPLS WAN networks, interacting with Telco and global WAN carriers
?Expertise in Wi-Fi deployments, 802.1x, EAP-PEAP and Cisco or other vendor NAC
?Experience in Network monitoring processes and tools (e.g. HP Openview, CiscoWorks, Compuware Vantage, OPNet, Nagios etc)
?Strong project management experience with large Network deployment projects
?Familiarity with core protocols (i.e. TCP/IP, CIFS, DFS) and WAN acceleration (WAFS)
?Strong understanding of DNS
?Certification: CCIE, CCVP and CCNP (preferred)
